The Jean Woodrow Collection

Jean Woodrow published a series of articles for the Church magazine describing her memories of life in the village of Shipton.  Jean's writing gives a fascinating insight into a time when the village enjoyed fewer outside services and entertainments than we do today, however this was certainly no barrier to a full and active community life.   With thanks to Jean for her kind permission to publish these below.
